Peter Sclafani and Ruffin Rodrigue are Chef and co-owners of Ruffino’s Restaurant in Baton Rouge. Ruffin manages the front of the house and operations for the restaurant and is a former All American guard for the LSU Tigers. And the week after the show, Peter is off to cook at the James Beard House, the most prestigious name in culinary awards. A third-generation chef, Peter is one of the finest and most innovative chefs in Louisiana, if not the United States. He has won multiple awards, including “Restaurateur of the Year” by the Louisiana Restaurant Association for an unprecedented two consecutive years.
However, the invitation to cook at the James Beard House is the ultimate career highlight. Peter said, “Cooking at the Beard House has been on my bucket list ever since I donned my first chef’s hat.”

I am excited to welcome Brandon Landry and Jack Warner, co-owners of Baton Rouge-based Last In Concepts, which owns Walk-On’s (ESPN’s #1 sports bar in North America) and a few other cool Louisiana concepts. ESPN Mobile made the announcement recently at the conclusion of its third-annual continent-wide vote. With more than 150 flat-screen TVs, Walk-On’s has become the destination for great food in a great sports-themed atmosphere.
Brandon and Jack have developed and implemented 3 other original concepts: The Roux House, Happy’s Irish Pub and Schlittz& Giggles. The company now operates eight restaurants in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans.
