Jim Beach: Restaurant Owner Radio Host
Jim is most famous as the “guy that eats out 21 meals a week,” but is trying to become the “guy that always tips 30%!”
He has eaten in some of the most famous restaurants in the world, from Sukiyabashi Jiro in Tokyo to the Bab al Yam in Dubai, from 1884 in Mendoza, Argentina to the chef’s table at Roy’s in Honolulu, from fresh salmon catches in Juneau to the wineries of South Africa, and from kimchi in Seoul to Tamil curry in Chennai, India.
Jim is even a card carrying member of the Hong Kong Mexican Restaurant Association (membership expired).
As a world traveler, in addition to the above, he has enjoyed great meals in Spain, France, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, Brazil, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Mexico, Canada and sailing to Greenland on the RV Westward.
In addition, Jim has worked in the industry, as a bartender! His biggest tip ever was $250, from a English professor from GA Tech (talking about a fish out of water!) who was impressed that Jim could quote some Robert Frost poetry.
Jim is very honored to have interviewed world famous chefs, Iron Chef winners, James Beard winners, 3000 unit chain CEOs, and the Chef at Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World. He would love to feature your restaurant story on the show!
